The first content clients are FRAUDSTERS

First Deal or a Trap?

The registration went smoothly. I filled out all the fields, verified my identity, completed the tests—everything Fiverr.com requires to kickstart a freelancing career. Finally, it was all set. I sat there, waiting for my first client, imagining how, within a few hours, my profile would start bringing in orders.

Reality, however, moved faster than my imagination: within just 10 minutes, I received my first "ping." The message read, "Is your offer still available?"

My excitement skyrocketed. Of course, it was available! I quickly replied "Yes." Moments later, I received a response asking me to follow a QR code.
And that’s when something didn’t feel right. Why would a client send a link if all transactions happen directly through the platform?

A simple lapse in attention could have cost me not only time but also money. The domain name in the QR code didn’t match Fiverr.com. Scammers were banking on my eagerness for my first order, hoping I wouldn’t notice the discrepancy and fall into their trap. I almost did.

Lesson learned: No matter how enticing an opportunity seems, never let your guard down. Being too eager to start working can lead to costly mistakes. Always double-check every detail to protect yourself from fraud. Trust me—you don’t want to learn this lesson the hard way.

I thought this was a good opportunity to tone down my excitement and have some fun. I wrote and sent them a text. And to make sure they read it, I named the file '350 dollars'. Message to scammers:

Do You Think You Won’t Get Caught?

Easy money – is that your weakness?

There was this "Genius." He always had a plan—scamming people through fake websites. He created a copy of a popular platform, added a fake "pay" button, and freelancers sent him money, thinking they were paying official invoices. And you know what's the funniest part? He thought he was "untouchable."

At first, everything went smoothly. The money flowed in, clients were duped, and he felt like the god of cyberspace. But then, strange things started happening. One day—just a small hiccup: he suddenly forgot his password to his crypto wallet. On the second day, his laptop froze—and wouldn’t turn back on. And then… he noticed something disappearing. No, not the money. He was disappearing. More precisely, his body stopped responding like it used to. You know what I mean, right?

He would wake up in a cold sweat, staring at his reflection—where once stood a confident scammer, now there was just an empty shell. This wasn’t just the collapse of his "business." It was the beginning of the end. He was cursed. And do you know how that curse manifested? He lost not only his money but also… himself. In the most literal sense.

They say curses come to everyone who steals not only money but trust. It starts with small things—declining income, strange tech failures, conflicts. But that’s just the beginning. It’s the feeling when you think you’re controlling the game, but in reality, you’re just a pawn on the board. And when you realize it, it might already be too late.

These scammers thought they could hide. But here’s the lesson: you can change your website, IP, even country. But you can’t fool karma. It’ll find you through your screen, your keyboard, every button you press.

The "Genius" tried to fix everything. He ran to shamans, bought expensive talismans, hired cybersecurity experts to "clean his tracks." But you know what? None of it worked. The only thing he could do was write apologies to everyone he had scammed and return their money. But even that didn’t give him back what he had lost… well, you know what I mean.

And now the question is: Are you reading this and feeling a strange tingling sensation? In your back, in your hands, maybe somewhere else? Of course, it’s not a curse. Or is it? Because they say the screen is the mirror of your soul. If you’ve already started down the "Genius" path, pay attention: your screen might already be flickering. You still have time to stop. Or you can continue. And then… well, you remember how that ends.

You can leave this game right now. Delete all your schemes before it’s too late. But if you think the curse is just a myth… Well, let’s see how long your screen holds up before it becomes your sentence.

I hope they like my attempt at writing.
